Sydney Observatory - Rocket Fantasy Party Day
18th April 2013

Pages 1, 2, 3, Index      Next >>>

On the 18th of April 2013 NSWRA had the privilege again to be a part of the Sydney Observatory's Rocket Fantasy Party Day. We had great weather this year so we were able to set up the display stand outside. We even managed to get around 8 launches in and 4 static motor firings. There was a great turnout at the observatory with close to 800 parents and children attending during the day.

We would like to say a big thank you to the observatory staff for making it a great day for all. We would also like to thank Peter Berg from Berg's Hobbies for providing a number of motors for the demonstrations and letting us borrow some kits for display stand.

It was also great to meet Christy Berlatsky the Export Sales Manager for Hobbico, that owns Estes. Thank you also to Charlotte, Paul and Vicky for helping out on the day.

Following are a few pictures from the day.
