Sydney Observatory Mini Rocket Scientist Party Day
17th April 2012

Pages 1, 2, Index

On the 17th of April NSWRA had the privilege to be a part of the Sydney Observatory's Mini Rocket Scientist Party Day. Although it was quite a rainy day we managed to get in a few paper rocket demonstration flights, as well as a number of static motor firings. Despite the adverse weather there was still a great turnout at the observatory with close to 500 parents and children attending.

We would like to say a big thank you to the observatory staff for making it a great day for all, and finding space indoors for our static display.

Following are a few pictures from the day.

Sydney Observatory staff had their own water rocket launch range.
